Hi, everybody. Well, our first movie night was a lot of fun. Lots of people came down to eat free bacon popcorn and check out “Between the Folds”. Austin is being a bit cagy about this Monday’s selection, but I should have it posted by Sunday at the latest.
Speaking of Sunday, we are hosting, yes, another pig roast! I’ll be manning the box this time, and sides will include grilled asparagus, corn on the cob( I know it seems early for corn, but the stuff we are getting now from the Imperial Valley is super sweet and good), and black beans. We’ve had a lot of interest in this one, so please come early.
We’ve also finally gotten around to upgrading our lunch menu. We have pan-roasted halibut with corn and avocado salad, a Cubano, and a roast beef and horseradish sandwich on whole wheat. We’ll be making a few of the roast beef ahead of time , so you can grab and go at the window if you’re in a hurry.
